First responders, including members of DC Fire and EMS, saluted the remains of the three US service members killed in the midair collision as they were transferred into ambulances and departed a temporary emergency disaster site at Buzzard Point in Washington, DC, on Friday night.

The remains of the service members were recovered earlier in the day.

The US Army officially released the names of two of the soldiers. Staff Sgt. Ryan Austin O’Hara, 28, served as the Black Hawk’s crew chief. O’Hara leaves behind a wife and 1-year-old son, CNN has reported. The second soldier has been identified as Chief Warrant Officer 2 Andrew Loyd Eaves, 39. The third soldier’s name has not been released at the request of her family.
